Replacing Eric Bana and Jennifer Connelly, respectively, Edward Norton will play Bruce Banner, while Liv Tyler will play Betty Ross. Tim Roth will play Emil Blonsky/the Abomination.

The script of The Incredible Hulk was written by Zak (X-Men: The Last Stand, Fantastic Four, X2) Penn, with Avi Arad, Gale Anne Hurd and Kevin Feige producing. Jim Van Wyck, David Maisel, Ari Arad and Stan Lee are listed as executive producers.

The Incredible Hulk is slated to begin filming in Toronto this summer.
